IDA Ireland funding overview
IDA Ireland funding provides grants and incentives to support foreign direct investment into Ireland, covering capital, R&D, skills, employment and sustainability. It is targeted at overseas owned companies locating or expanding in Ireland and is delivered alongside advisory support from IDA as Ireland’s investment promotion agency.
For CFOs of multinational groups, IDA funding is a strategic lever. It can materially shift the after tax cost of new plants, shared service centres, technology hubs or R&D centres, but it must be integrated carefully with Irish R&D tax credits, Enterprise Ireland and EU grants, and group level incentives policies.
FI Group IE helps finance leaders design and deliver an IDA funding strategy that supports global capital allocation decisions, aligns with state aid rules and stands up to internal and external audit.
